This should be done when they return from abroad. The fact is that the vaccine may not fully protect against the virus.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova has explained on the Russia 1 TV channel why it is important for Russians vaccinated against Covid to take a test for the virus upon their return from abroad.
According to her, it is impossible to say for sure right now whether a person is contagious or not, as there is not enough information about it.
Golikova added that 200,000-300,000 citizens in Russia are vaccinated every day.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that the situation with the coronavirus pandemic in the country was acute.
