The German Consulate General in Novosibirsk has ended its work, according to information provided on the official website of the German missions in Russia.

This decision was the result of the Russian government's actions, which set a quota of 350 people for employees of German missions and organizations.

The move led to the restriction of the activities of German consulates general in various regions, including Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk, with plans to close these institutions by the end of 2023.
