According to ABC newspaper, citing Zaragoza police, on Wednesday, November 30, the Spanish arms company Instalaza received a letter that resembled the one that exploded at the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid.
However, the letter received by the Spanish company did not explode.
The newspaper recalled that the Spanish cabinet had sent Instalaza's grenade launchers to Ukraine in March.
The explosion at the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid happened around 13:00 on Wednesday, November 30. A letter with an improvised explosive device, which was addressed to the head of the diplomatic mission, was opened by an employee of the agency. The victim suffered a slight wound to his right arm and went to the Hospital de Nuestra Señora de America for treatment. Police officers cordoned off the area around the Ukrainian embassy and initiated anti-terrorist response protocols.
