In third place on the list of billionaires is the founder of online retailer Amazon, Jeff Bezos.
Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, regained the top spot on the list of the world's richest people, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Musk surpassed French luxury manufacturer Louis Vuitton Bernard Arnault.
While Arnault's fortune was previously estimated at $192 billion and Musk's at $190 billion, Musk's fortune is now $192 billion and Arnault's is down to $187 billion.
Tesla stock is up 1.38 percent, while LVMH stock is down 2.64 percent. Musk's wealth is up $55.3 billion and Arnault's is up $24.5 billion since the beginning of the year.
Amazon online retailer Jeff Bezos ($144 billion) ranks third on the list of billionaires, while Microsoft founder Bill Gates ($125 billion) ranks fourth.
More than nine of the world's richest people have a fortune of more than $100 billion, and tenth place goes to the founder of Meta Platforms*, Mark Zuckerberg, who has $96.5 billion.
