Princess Kate Middleton, who survived abdominal surgery, wants to return to work.

As OK! reports, citing an insider, Middleton is now recovering from surgery, but she is finding it hard to stick to bed rest.

"She's always had very good health and an athletic figure, so not being able to jump out of bed and move around all the time is difficult for her," the source shared.

According to some reports, it could take several months to fully recover from the surgery, but Kate plans to return to her duties by Catholic Easter, celebrated on 31 March.

The insider attributed such a rush to the fact that it's hard for Middleton to watch her duties being carried out by someone else.

Kate Middleton's hospitalisation occurred on January 16 and she underwent surgery on the same day. Representatives of the royal family emphasised that it was a planned surgical procedure. The princess was discharged from the hospital after 14 days of stay in the medical facility.
