The Duke and Duchess of Sussex squandered their budget but failed to meet their obligations to Spotify.
It became known that the streaming audio giant Spotify, which signed a contract with British Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle in 2020, is not satisfied with the performance of the couple.
Receiving £18 million, the Dukes of Sussex ignored the terms of the contract and did not release a single podcast during 2021. The only program came out in late 2020, featuring Elton John, James Corden and baby Archie.
According to the Daily Mail, Spotify executives have decided to recruit a team to move the process along. This will discipline the grandson of the Queen of Great Britain and his spouse, and help release new shows in time for the spring. The company has announced a six-month staff search for the project.
"We are now assembling a team to work with Archewell to launch a new show about prominent women. The ideal candidate has experience with celebrities and an equal interest in pop culture," Spotify said in the announcement.
The £18 million was deposited into the details of the Archwell Foundation, through which the Dukes of Sussex recently registered several companies in the "gray" zone - with a low tax rate.
