Françoise Forton, actress of the popular Brazilian television series «The Clone», has died in Rio de Janeiro at the age of 63.
According to the Portuguese media, Françoise Forton, the performer of the role of Assistant Professor Albieri Simone in "The Clone" died at the age of 64. The cause of death was cancer.
In 1989, doctors diagnosed the actress with cervical cancer.
Condolences on the death of Francoise are her husband, theater producer Eduardo Barata and son Guilherme Forton Viotti.
Nivea Stelmann, who played Rania on the show, expressed her condolences on her Instagram.
"Sweet Françoise Forton, sorry! May God receive you with more light," Stelmann wrote.
Forton had been on her way to her role in the popular Brazilian series "The Clone" for years, and she began her film career at a young age. The actress played her last role in the series "Love Beyond Equals," which was released in 2019-2021.
