According to scientists from the University of Bath, as well as the University of Oskford and the University of Aberdeen, because of the pandemic coronavirus people began to trust science more. This is reported in the journal PLOS ONE.

The statement is based on a study involving more than two thousand Britons. Thus, the majority of respondents said that they began to trust geneticists more, but they still treat geologists.

At the same time, people began to trust more the pharmaceutical companies involved in the development of vaccines against covid. But this applied only to those who initially viewed the figures of science favorably.

At the same time, scientists noticed that those people who had previously distrusted scientists began to treat them even worse.
