A microchip was implanted in the human brain.
In the U.S., the first successful experiment was conducted to implant a chip into a person to treat depression. The successful operation was announced by the company Inner Cosmos.
As noted by the authors of the experiment, the treatment method is similar to transcranial magnetic stimulation of the brain. The implanted chip must affect a certain lobe in the volunteer's brain. Weak electrical impulses will work daily for 15 minutes.
The observation of the volunteer will last for a year. After that, the experiment is planned to be extended.
