Scientists have identified link between child autism and intestinal microflora

Chinese scientists were on the verge of a new discovery.

A group of Chinese scientists concluded that there is a direct link between intestinal microflora health and autism.

As follows from the results of their study, a violation of the optimal composition of the bacteria of the gastrointestinal tract can result in damage of the mitochondria and lead to the inability of the body to resist neurotoxins.

The study does not have a full-fledged evidence base at the moment, but Chinese scientists have partially confirmed their hypothesis by experimental means. Having transplanted bacteria from children to rats, they really managed to identify in rats the occurrence of a number of symptoms inherent in autism patients.
