Scientists have named a new theory that explains global warming on Earth.
Scientists are trying to find out what triggered the process of global warming on the planet in order to find methods to reduce the negative effect caused by rising air temperatures.
Thus, in the course of the study, scientists have come to the conclusion that global warming could have caused the eruption of the volcano Hunga Tonga-Hunga Haapai in the Pacific Ocean in 2022.
It has already been determined that its eruption produced the most powerful thunderstorm in history, affected satellites around the world and was stronger than the largest U.S. nuclear tests.
Scientists believe that due to the interaction of molten magma with water, a huge amount of vapor was released into the Earth's atmosphere. It in turn caused the greenhouse effect, keeping heat around the planet. Also, along with the ash in the atmosphere got carbon dioxide.
All this caused a sharp warming, scientists are sure. To part, scientists say, the consequences of the eruption will come to naught in the next five years.
