Experts have long proved that physical activity is good for your health. For example, it was previously stated that you need 10,000 steps every day to improve your health. A new study has shown that walking alone is not enough. In order to get the desired effect, it is necessary to walk at a fast pace.

Thus, according to scientific work of Borja del Pozo Cruz from the Center for Active and Healthy Longevity University of Southern Denmark in Odense, if you take 9800 steps a day by brisk pace, the risk of old age dementia reduced by 40%, and 3800 steps a day reduce the risk of 25%.

It is important to maintain the right pace and take 80 steps per minute. If you stick to this rule, significantly reduces the risk of cardiovascular, cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, says the author of the experiment.

We should add that the doctor's statement is based on the study of 78,500 British patients monitored for seven years.
