Scientists are trying to find ways to treat Alzheimer's disease at an early stage.
American scientists have developed a new way to treat early-stage Alzheimer's disease.
According to the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease, it is a multimodal individualized therapy plan. Specialists have already tested the new approach in the treatment of the disease and found that it improves cognitive function in people with related disorders.
The test involved 34 people with cognitive impairment. First, they were subjected to a comprehensive intervention, forcing them to change their lifestyle, take supplements and medications.
In addition, the patients visited the hospital regularly for six months.
As a result, after six months, their cognitive scores increased from 19.6 to 21.7 points. In addition, the subjects' memory, thinking, verbal abilities and concentration became better.
Earlier, scientists said that an experimental vaccine could prevent Alzheimer's disease.
