According to RIA News with reference to Rospatent, the list of the best inventions of 2020 included a vaccine against tuberculosis, a car chassis stabilizer, a new needle coke production method, a system that distinguishes a smart bot from a human, a technology for obtaining a fireproof building insulator, a low-height antenna with a wide operating frequency range, a device for more accurate neurosurgery, a kit for detecting infectious disease agents, a method for passively locating hydroacoustic sources, and a cheaper way to generate solar energy.
According to the RIA News source, the vaccine against tuberculosis has a double effect. Not only does it protect against infection, but it also enables a person who is already sick to be cured of tuberculosis.
In addition, the new solar cells are created on the basis of perovskite minerals, which is a simpler and more environmentally friendly way.
