Evidence has been found that evening workouts are healthier than daytime workouts

A study by scientists at the Charles Perkins Center involving 29,836 adults over the age of 40 found that evening exercise is more effective in maintaining heart health in obese people than daytime exercise. This is reported in Diabetes Care.

As part of the trial, volunteers were divided into three groups that exercised at different times of the day. As a result, it turned out that the volunteers who exercised after 18.00 in short intervals had a significantly lower risk of cardiovascular disease and acute conditions.

Scientists believe that this is due to the increase in the evening time of sensitivity to insulin, which helps the body's cells to better utilize glucose.
