At the Summer Olympics in Paris, there are plans to put huge vacuum cleaners in the city to purify the air. According to the organizers of the competitions, these devices should make it easier for athletes to breathe.
The Times writes that summer testing of vacuum cleaner prototypes showed that the devices can remove at least a third of pollutants from the air within a radius of several dozen meters. As the manufacturers claimed, thanks to such vacuum cleaners, children with asthma stopped using inhalers.
The article says that the cleaners will be installed near the living quarters of the Olympians. At the expense is planned to offset emissions from the congested highway A86, located 150 meters from the village.
Recall also that earlier we told about the bedbug epidemic in Paris, which threatens the Olympics.
