Scientists have discovered a bridge underwater in Mallorca that was built about 6,000 years ago. The seven-meter bridge was built by the first inhabitants of Spain. At first, archaeologists thought it was no more than 4400 years old because of the pottery found on it at that time.

Scientists analyzed the calcareous growth on the bridge and realized that it went under water when the sea level rose. That's when it became clear that it was older than it looked. This has changed the ideas of historians about the time of settlement of Majorca and udrevlivleni on one and a half thousand years of human history here.

In the Alps, archaeologists discovered an ancient Roman military camp that was built at the beginning of our era.

In Venezuela, scientists found the remains of a prehistoric sea cow, which fell victim to two predators at once.
