According to an article from the journal Environmental Science & Technology, experts have recorded the presence of wild boars contaminated with radioactive particles in Central Europe.

In particular, scientists managed to come across 48 wild boars with high levels of radioactive cesium.

Specialists believe that everything is to blame - conducted in the last century nuclear weapons strength tests.

Sixty years of radiocaesium, formed after nuclear weapons tests, significantly contributes to the notorious level of contamination of wild boars in Central Europe," the research paper says.
