According to the press service of the Committee on Education of St. Petersburg, more than four thousand school classes in the Northern capital sent to quarantine due to the spread of covitis and SARS, reports 78.ru.
As of January 31, 445 classes in 438 schools were temporarily transferred to distance learning, also because of the quarantine are 168 groups in 78 kindergartens.
According to the head of the general education department of the committee, Anna Grubskaya, currently about 20% of classes are under quarantine, 19.5% of students are studying remotely.
