St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov has appointed new chairmen of the committees on culture and on social policy in the city administration.
According to the city administration, the governor Alexander Beglov signed directives on the appointment of heads of executive bodies of state power of St. Petersburg. Thus, Elena Fidrikova became the chairman of the Committee on Social Policy, and Fedor Boltin became the chairman of the Committee on Culture.
Prior to their appointment, the officials worked as deputy chairmen of committees and acting heads.
Boltin in this position succeeded Konstantin Suhenko, who became a representative of the governor of St. Petersburg in the Legislative Assembly.
He has been working in the city administration for almost 15 years, for the last seven years he has been working on cultural issues.
Fidrikova in February 2014 took the post of deputy chairman of the committee on social policy. She oversaw the issues of family and demographic policy, guardianship and custody. Previously, the committee on social policy was headed by Alexander Rzhanenkov, who in September of this year was elected a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg.
