According to the government of St. Petersburg, from August 28 to 30, the fourteenth Flower Festival will be held in the Northern capital.
According to Governor Alexander Beglov, this year the event will be dedicated to doctors and nurses who fight daily for the health and lives of citizens.
In St. Petersburg, a colorful Flower Parade will be held along Nevsky Prospekt, accompanied by a brass band.
In addition, there will be a competition of florists in various categories: the best bouquet, the best floral suit, the best floral umbrella and the best headdress. Then the holiday will end with an exhibition of floral art objects.
