The accident happened in the evening, June 25, in Vyborgsky district on Varvarinskaya street.
In St. Petersburg on Varvarinskaya Street, the driver of the car Toyota Camry at speed hit two young people aged 18 and 19. The 35-year-old offender decided to flee the scene. The injured pedestrians with injuries of moderate severity were taken to a hospital in the northern capital.
During the operational search activities the perpetrator of the accident was detained at the intersection of Engels Avenue and Poklonnogorskaya Street. At present, the fact of the accident is being investigated. Specialists of the State Automobile Inspection of the city are finding out all the circumstances of the accident.
