A new drawbridge across the Neva in the northern capital is planned to be built by the end of 2028.
The press service of the government of St. Petersburg informs that in 2028 the construction of a new drawbridge across the Neva River will be completed in the alignment of Bolshoy Smolensky Prospekt and Kollontai Street.
Bolshoy Smolensky Bridge will have six lanes, and it will also be connected to the road network through the interchanges of Obukhovskaya Oborony Avenue, Oktyabrskaya Embankment and at the intersection of Dalnevostochny Avenue and Kollontai Street.
In addition to other investments in construction, they also use tax revenues from PJSC Gazprom to the city budget.
