Ecolines has decided to extend its bus route from St. Petersburg to Lappeenranta to the city of Imatra in Finland. According to the Interfax agency, this change will take effect from October 6 this year, as announced by the company's press service.
Ecolines representatives explained that this decision was made due to the large number of Russian-speaking residents who regularly travel from Imatra to St. Petersburg. They noted that it was inconvenient to get from Imatra to Lappeenranta by public transportation, so it was decided to extend the route.
Recall that earlier the company reported that tickets for bus routes from St. Petersburg to Finland are sold out for three weeks in advance.
