A resident of St. Petersburg has filed a complaint with the UFAS against Bank Russian Standard. According to the man, he received a call from the bank offering him a cash loan of up to 1 million roubles at a preferential rate for a period of 5 years.

In the course of consideration of the complaint, the antimonopoly authorities examined the documents provided by the man and the record of the telephone conversation. As a result, they found out that the call was made using an automatic dialing procedure. At the same time, the advertisement did not voice the terms of the loan.

Among other things, the man did not give the bank consent to receive advertising.

"A case has been initiated against the bank for violation of the law "On Advertising". If the guilt is "proved, the bank faces a fine", - reported in the St. Petersburg UFAS.
