On the night of November 25, St. Petersburg recorded a record negative temperature since the beginning of autumn

St. Petersburg experienced the coldest night since the beginning of the fall. On the night of November 25 the thermometer fell to minus 8 degrees. This fact was shared by the chief specialist of the center "Phobos" Mikhail Leus in his Telegram-channel.

"Last night was the coldest. The temperature at the city weather station fell to minus 8.2 degrees," - said the expert, recalling that the previous record was November 22, when the air cooled to minus 7.4 degrees.

The cold snap was more tangible in the Leningrad region. The coldest was in Vinnitsa (-16.7 degrees below zero). This was also a record for the countryside since early autumn.

In the next couple of days no major changes in the weather are expected.
