A pilot project based on artificial intelligence is being implemented in the Central, Petrograd, Vasileostrovsky and Admiralteysky districts of St. Petersburg. The system analyses online content from cameras and transmits the data to a central server.

Smart cameras will detect overflowing rubbish bins, snow piles, broken benches and holes in the asphalt. In total, the system will have more than 900 points in the field of vision in the specified areas. The neural network will send notifications of violations to a special chat room to the person responsible for the maintenance of territories.

Moreover, the artificial intelligence will set deadlines for eliminating the problem, and later will check whether the order has been fulfilled, the GATI press service said.
