At the unregulated crosswalk on Kultury Avenue, 22, building 1, a pilot project was launched to fix violations by drivers who do not give advantage to pedestrians. This project is designed to improve road safety and promote compliance with traffic rules, reports the press service of Smolny.

A special complex of photo-video fixation was installed at the crossing and began its work. For a month of its functioning 65 cases of traffic rules violation against pedestrians were recorded.

In case of successful results of the pilot project and stabilization of the situation with safety at this crossing, the authorities plan to consider the issue of expanding the use of such complexes at other unregulated crosswalks in different parts of the city.

Recall that earlier Smolny reported on the improvement of the territory near Suzdal lakes. Earlier, sewage was discharged into one of the lakes.
