This decision will affect 1136 institutions attended by more than 267,000 children. In addition, in kindergartens in St. Petersburg goes to about 9800 children who come to live in the region. For them, attendance will also become free.
Today the fee for a month's visit to a state kindergarten costs from 450 to 1500 rubles. This year 833 million rubles will be allocated from the city budget to cover the costs. Next year more than 2 billion rubles will be allocated in the treasury for these purposes.
