More than 80% of the transport industry employees are vaccinated in St. Petersburg.
The press service of Smolny on October 15 reported that all enterprises of the city's transport sector have fulfilled their obligations to vaccinate their employees. 34,890 (86.2%) employees of shipping companies have a certificate of being vaccinated against COVID-19 or having antibodies. 80% of them are vaccinated.
“It is important that we managed to achieve a high level of vaccination in industries whose workers are in constant contact with a large number of people, for example, in transport,” said the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
The official also noted that at the moment all enterprises of the transport complex are working in compliance with all anti-epidemiological measures.
