In August 2023, St. Petersburg's new car market faced a significant drop in demand, down 15% compared to the previous month, according to the Russian Automobile Dealers Association and the Pragmatica network of dealerships. This is the second time this year that the car market has experienced a drop in demand, following a 26% drop in late spring compared to the previous month.
