The Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg has begun the procedure for laying off employees

At the moment, there are 2,180 workers at the plant on downtime.

The process of dismissal of employees of the Hyundai plant began in St. Petersburg. This is reported by TASS.

According to the employees of the company, the dismissal procedure will be divided into two stages. Initially, the workers will have to sign an agreement, turn in their tools and work uniforms. Then a date will be set for a second visit, during which the employees will sign the remaining documents, as well as surrender passes and keys.

The city's Committee on Labor and Employment noted that the Hyundai automobile plant has sent a notice to the employment service about the downtime from January 1 to January 31.

So, currently there are 2,180 employees of the plant in the downtime. It is noted that the procedure of dismissal of employees will last until February 17.

Recall that the Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg stopped producing cars because of difficulties with the supply of components.
