St. Petersburg - Helsinki railway route to be resumed from December 12

From December 12, 2021, Russia will resume passenger rail traffic with Finland on the St. Petersburg - Helsinki route.

The emergency operations center for the fight against coronavirus infection reports that from December 12, 2021, the Russian Federation will resume railway communication with Finland along the route St. Petersburg - Helsinki. Trains will run in this direction twice a day.

Passenger rail traffic is being resumed taking into account the strict observance of sanitary and epidemiological requirements, the emergency operations center of the region emphasizes.

Earlier, due to the coronavirus pandemic, since March 2020, the passenger rail service between Finland and Russia was interrupted.
