The scuffle took place near Prospekt Prosveshcheniya metro station in the evening of July 15. The details of the incident were reported to the police by an eyewitness.
The police of Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg are deciding whether it is necessary to initiate criminal proceedings against the teenagers who were detained and taken to the Interior Ministry department after a fight with the use of pyrotechnics. The incident occurred on Engels Avenue, 140, near the metro station “Prospekt Prosveshcheniya” at about 22:00 on July 15.
According to the publication “Fontanka”, the fight was reported to the police by an eyewitness of the fight. Soon a police detachment on duty arrived on the spot. Detained were two teenagers 15 and 17 years old. One of them lives in the Vyborgsky district, and the second in the Kalininsky district. A 41-year-old witness said that two groups of young people were involved in the fight.
"After the interview, they were handed over to their legal representatives. No telephonograms from medical institutions were received by the police. Measures have been taken to search for the fugitive participants of the scuffle. The question of initiation of criminal proceedings is being decided", - reported in the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region.
