Active striped mongooses from the Leningrad Zoo have increasingly started to go for a walk outside and explore new scenery.
Striped mongooses are heat-loving animals. Therefore, when temperatures are low, these animals living in the Leningrad Zoo prefer to stay in warm enclosures.
However, with the arrival of warmth mongooses more often began to go for a walk outside, said in the press service of the zoo.
Guests of the menagerie can now watch the hustling mongooses explore new decorations placed in the air.
"These hustlers are almost always 'at work'. Most of all they like to dig, so even new decorations almost immediately seem destroyed," - explained the state of the new decorations in the Leningrad Zoo.
In their free time from "work" mongooses prefer to bask in the sun, so guests of the zoo can see how in sunny weather they lie down on shelves and rejoice in spring.
