Prices will increase by almost 10% on average from the next school year. Breakfasts and lunches for both junior and senior students will go up in price.
The website of the St. Petersburg administration published a document according to which the average cost of lunch in school canteens will increase by 9.6% as early as September 1, 2025. A complex lunch for high school students will rise in price from 451.5 to 494.5 rubles.
Elementary school students will be able to have breakfast for Br114 instead of Br104, while lunch for them will cost Br172 instead of Br156. Pupils of grades 5-8 will pay Br176 for breakfast - Br15 more, while lunch will cost Br264 instead of Br241. For high school students, breakfast now costs 180 rubles, and will rise in price to 198 rubles.
Earlier it was reported that St. Petersburg on the size of teachers' salaries is in 11th place.
The Prosecutor's office requires from the management of kindergartens of the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg to install sunshades.
