Barbara Cyclone will bring to St. Petersburg rain with thunderstorms and a cooling of up to 21 degrees

Beginning July 14, in the next few days residents of St. Petersburg expect bad weather. The reason will be the North Atlantic cyclone Barbara, the center of which in the form of an atmospheric vortex will cover the Gulf of Bothnia.

This was reported this morning by Mikhail Leus, a leading expert of the Phobos Center, sharing information in his Telegram channel. According to the specialist, the sky will be closed by dense clouds, causing rain, thunderstorms and a further drop in temperature.

So, during the day on July 14 in St. Petersburg will be from +21 to +23 degrees, the speed of the south wind will be 4-9 meters per second, with a thunderstorm it will be gusty.

Atmospheric pressure will begin to fall and by evening the figure will be below normal - 751 millimeters of the mercury column. Thunderstorms and short-term rain are expected in the Leningrad region. Such weather will remain on Friday.
