By the 100th anniversary of soccer club “Zenit” in St. Petersburg will be issued 100 thousand transport cards “Podorozhnik” with exclusive design. This was reported in the press-service of the city Committee on Transport.
The circulation will be divided equally: 50 thousand cards will be designed in the style of the chevron created especially for the club's anniversary, another 50 thousand - with the image of the team's mascot, the blue-white-and-blue lion. This is the fourth batch of collector cards issued in 2025.
Sales of the cards will start on May 15. You will be able to buy them at the subway ticket offices and official points of sale of the State Unitary Enterprise “Transport Organizer”.
Denis Usanov, the head of the SCU, emphasized that the Zenit soccer club has become an important part of the cultural and sporting image of the Northern Capital during its century-long history, and the limited series of transportation cards is designed to emphasize this connection and become a memorable gift for citizens and tourists, writes “Petersburg2”.
