St. Petersburg received about 50,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine

St. Petersburg received nearly 50,000 doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

On Tuesday, October 12, a new batch of 49,800 doses of the coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V was delivered to the JSC Pharmbase warehouse in St. Petersburg.

Alexander Beglov, governor of St. Petersburg, speaking to St. Petersburg residents of advanced age, emphasized the need for vaccination.

“Doctors all over the world have already proven that the golden agers are at risk for the severe course of COVID-19. Among those over 60, only 40 percent were vaccinated, ”Beglov said.

The governor urged everyone who had not yet been vaccinated to vaccinate against COVID-19.

"You will not only protect yourself from the serious course of the disease, but also protect your loved ones," said Alexander Beglov.
