In St. Petersburg the number of institutions, deciding to boycott the checking of QR codes for the visitors has increased to 111, said the initiator of the action, restaurateur Alexander Konovalov. Only yesterday 17 more organizations of different business spheres joined the protest.

The new rules have started to work in St. Petersburg since January 2. According to them people without QR-codes of vaccination won't be able to visit public catering establishments and retail trade enterprises (except for the food and essential commodities stores and drugstores).

Businessman Konovalov announced a boycott of QR-codes introduced in the city and stated that his guests would not be required to have them in his establishments.
