The tragedy became known on Tuesday, August 9, the day before, in the apartment of one of the houses on Energetikov Avenue in the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg, the mother found a dead teenage daughter in the bath.
On Monday, August 8, around 6:00 a.m., a woman went into the bathroom and found her 15-year-old daughter without signs of life. The mother called 112.
The girl was already dead. During the initial examination of the body, it was found that she might have died of asphyxiation.
A criminal investigation was opened into the incident.
During the verification of circumstances, some details emerged. It turned out that the schoolgirl was worried about her excess weight. In addition, they managed to find out from a conversation with the victim's brother, that shortly before the tragedy, the ninth-grader had broken up with her lover.
It is also known that the teenager grew up in a complete family with her mother and stepfather. Both parents worked. The family was not registered with the police, and never came to the attention of law enforcers.
