An ad for the sale of a 50% stake in the LeoMall shopping center located in the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg has appeared on the Avito Real Estate site. The cost of half of the object, the total area of which is 59,500 square meters, is estimated at 1.6 billion rubles.

Real estate experts told RBC St. Petersburg that this shopping center was opened back in 2024 and was called "Montpensier" until its renaming in 2021. Half of its territory is occupied by retail space, and about 9000 square meters are allocated for entertainment.

Such large brands as Perekrestok, Eldorado and Familia leased premises in it. The reasons for the sale are not yet known. Although it is noted that its space is bought out by different companies by 99%. Experts believe that the sale of only a share in the object will significantly complicate the search for a buyer, as joint management constrains the owners in decision-making.

Earlier it was reported that St. Petersburg is going to put Apraksin Dvor up for auction in the near future.

In St. Petersburg for the second time they are trying to sell the House of the Second Mutual Credit Society of pre-revolutionary construction.
