Public and mass events cannot be held in St. Petersburg until at least March 28. This follows from the amendments made to the decree on restrictive measures by the head of the region, Alexander Beglov.
Night cabarets, clubs and discos, hookah lounges are still not allowed to operate. People over the age of 65 are to remain self-isolated until March 28.
The same applies to Petersburgers with chronic illnesses. If any of them work, it should be done remotely, the decree said.
The executive authorities may hold some events, both leisure and ceremonial, but they have to be instructed by the governor personally in such a case.
Organization of leisure and festive events with the presence of citizens in person is possible only by order of the governor.
The execution of the "coronavirus" decree will now be the responsibility of the vice-governor, Valery Pikalev.
