According to the portal "Petersburg2", the minimum wage in the city on the Neva is increasing at a rate that exceeds the planned inflation. If in 2023 it amounted to 23 500 rubles, in 2024 it will increase to 25 000 rubles.
According to Alexei Korabelnikov, Vice-Governor, the increase in the minimum wage at a rate above inflation helps to reduce the volume of "envelope" salaries.
