Workers found an unexploded shell during construction of the metro in St. Petersburg

A dangerous object was discovered by workers of the general contractor of the rack "Metrostroy Severnaya Stolitsa" while digging an excavation for the lobby of the future metro station.

"Employees of JSC "MSSS" promptly suspended work and informed the emergency services. Access to the construction site was prohibited until the removal of the shell, the territory was cordoned off by the site personnel and the police, - reports the official telegram channel of metro construction workers.

Earlier we reported that on Wednesday, 7 February, the movement of the blue branch of the metro in St. Petersburg was paralysed because of a drunken citizen who fell on the rails.
