The authorities of St. Petersburg will allocate 18 billion rubles to support the business that suffered due to the pandemic of coronavirus infection.
The authorities of St. Petersburg have developed measures to support local businesses affected by the pandemic, which imply the allocation of 18 billion rubles, as reported in the press service of Smolny at the end of the meeting of Alexander Beglov with the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov.
At the meeting Beglov emphasized that a large-scale drop in the economy in the city due to current restrictions on the work of enterprises introduced during the coronavirus pandemic was not recorded. Timely implementation of business support measures has helped many enterprises stay afloat.
It is noted that the most affected areas of the economy in the Northern capital are the consumer sector, tourism and culture.
Now the city authorities are working at an accelerated rate to develop measures for the speedy restoration of the economy of St. Petersburg.
