More than 50 migrants lost their right to work after a mass scuffle in St. Petersburg

More than 50 foreigners lost their work patents and 13 more people will be deported from the country after a mass brawl, which was organized by migrants in Primorsky district of St. Petersburg.

The press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city and Leningrad Region says that on December 4, the police received a signal about a conflict that broke out on Bobylskaya Street. Later, the staff of medical institutions informed the police about rendering assistance to three young people involved in the fight - natives of the south.

A criminal case of hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was opened over the incident. Employees of the Center "E" together with the district police are searching for the participants of the conflict.

On December 5, police officers conducted a raid on prevention of offenses in the area where the scuffle took place. During this event, more than 100 foreign citizens were detained for violations of migration laws, half of them had their work patents revoked, another 13 migrants who committed gross illegal actions were placed in a specialized center for further deportation from Russia.
