The chief forecaster of St. Petersburg Alexander Kolesov told about the weather, which the residents of the Northern capital should prepare for in the next few days.
According to Kolesov, a temperature record was recorded in St. Petersburg last night. Let us remind you that the thermometers in the city dropped to minus 21 degrees Celsius. This figure was half a degree lower than that which was recorded back in 1893. The Scandinavian dry anticyclone is to blame for the abnormally low temperatures for this period.
