St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov has approved a resolution according to which the city's enterprises will be allocated subsidies to support and stimulate innovative research and design work.
These subsidies will be used to reimburse 50% of the costs of scientific, research and development work. The maximum amount of the subsidy per employee will be 20 million rubles, and the total budget of this initiative will amount to 150 million rubles.
The purpose of this support measure is to stimulate the development of innovative civilian products that will be actively demanded in the city infrastructure. After completion of the development process, the enterprises that received subsidies will be able to provide the created samples for further testing in the city organizations.
It should be reminded that earlier Smolny announced plans to purchase 40 electric buses of large capacity for 4.25 billion rubles.
