Specialists of the CompMechLab Engineering Center in St. Petersburg have developed the ML CAR electric car, which will be launched into mass production.
Work on the new invention was carried out for only two years, which is a record for this industry. Currently, a prototype has been created. The sample for mass production is in the manufacturing stage.
An electric car is a small urban crossover, the design of which can be changed at the request of the customer. The body of the electric car will be made of aluminum, titanium and carbon. The issue of installing many stations for recharging electric vehicle batteries remains open.
According to the head of the CompMechLab Alexei Borovkov, a new invention can enter the market in 3-4 years.
